MillCreek is made from PVC and is pressed with high temperature instead of the traditional bonding methods that use formaldehyde content.
This makes MillCreek Flooring environmentally friendly, as well as bacteria free. The durable design of this material also makes it fully washable.
MillCreek can be installed with no separate sub floor system underneath (although a very thin layer of foam is sometimes added).
At 3/20" in height, this allows for an installation that takes up virtually no head room -- which is a valuable commodity in a finished basement!
